Punishers Locator app for iPhone and iPad

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The Punishers Locator app finds and locates all the members within the group and constantly notifies each member of the others location while also offering a suit of ease of comfort features for users.

Controlled Registration:
To use the app, one must register on the website and await acceptance and confirmation from the president of the group. Through this means, the president of the group will also control what level of access that user will have in the app. Once accepted, the user will receive an email denoting as much from the president along with a key required to be entered as proof of acceptance for a one-time login.

Custom Locations:
If authorized access by the president; some users can create and add custom locations of interests for the group to view. Users within the group can use these locations to arrange meetings within the group.

Checking In:
Once a user is within one hundred meters of a custom location, they can check in at that location. Users can then find out that another user has checked in by viewing the "Check Ins" screen to see all checked in users for the day along with the location checked-in and when.

Search Functionality:
As the group expects to grow in size, it potentially becomes harder to find a specific member within the group. In place, is a search function which will show you only the members of any name you enter; or even the road name where that person lives.

Member Awareness and Connectivity:
Users displayed on the map are shown with their selected profile photo upon their registration. Furthermore; the Punishers Locator app will display a selected members current battery life and phone number with the option to contact them, after pushing the "more information" button. Any member who has not updated their GPS coordinates within the last five minutes or more will have a gray mask over their picture.

Emergency Signalling:
Should an emergency arise, a user can use the bell-like icon hovering over the map to signal to other users that you are in an emergency. This will make your profile photo appear red to other members until the user presses the button again.
